A Love Affair & A Gentlemen's Agreement

Gugliemo Miani and Aldo Lorenzi

Lorenzi@Larusmiani. A Love Affair & A Gentlemen's Agreement. Superior products and impeccable service – that’s why G. Lorenzi  in Via Monte Napoleone was famous all over the world.  G. Lorenzi’s shop at number 9 since January 1929 was the oldest and shuttered its doors on February 2014 after 85 years of trading. For enthusiasts of “The Cutler of Milan”, its tradition and heritage has been salvaged by two legendary brands: Alfred Dunhill who acquired the famous G. Lorenzi’s archive of strikingly beautiful grooming tools for men and Larusmiani, the oldest luxury clothing and tailoring Brand on Via Monte Napoleone. Larusmiani reserved an exclusive space for the wide range of Aldo Lorenzi’s exquisite accessories that found a new home in the historic LARUSMIANI Concept Boutique at Number 7 on Via Monte Napoleone.

The Larusmiani’s basement, which has been re-decorated with original furniture from the former G. Lorenzi shop.

Aldo Lorenzi taught me the importance of always dreaming yet being pragmatic at the same time. A master whose enthusiasm for making the impossible possible, and passion for authentic things, I share. Uniqueness lies in striving for the very best, staying true to the past, but taking a modern approach”. says Guglielmo Miani, CEO Larusmiani  and President of the "Associazione della Via MonteNapoleone" that includes more than 130 prestigeous brands worldwide in Milan Fashion District.

Lorenzi history will be shared via brochures provided with the products. “That’s why I chose Guglielmo Miani.” Aldo Lorenzi says  “Because he is a sharp-witted, attentive and spontaneous person who is bold enough to move forward with this project. I want people to learn how to get a feel for our worlds. Taking pleasure in know-how is in our DNA and this love should be passed on.
